First day of kindergarten for Sydney

Kate had to get in the picture too (she is still in her jammies), but here is our KINDERGARTENER!!!

Elli and Sydney are both in Mrs. Matthews class.

She was thrilled to go in, hang up her backpack and lunch, and find her seat.

She hugged us and told us bye and we snuck out.  When I looked back, she was reading a book.

No tears and no drama- just excitement!  

Dallas visit with the Luces

We had a great trip to Dallas a couple of weeks ago to see the Luces (especially baby Lawson!).

One morning we got to go to the Dallas Aquarium to explore.

The best thing there was the shark tank.  It was amazing!  It was basically a tunnel with water all around us.  Sting rays and sharks!

Each child was awarded an individualized award.  Sydney was given the Disney Character Award, for keeping everyone entertained with stories from the "Kingdom of Walker" :)

I guess one good thing about being at the end of the alphabet, she got to lead the kids out in the processional.
