While the baby is asleep I thought I'd just post away. Here are some pictures from the last 48 hours. Our favorite toys so far have been our cradle swing and the "Floor Nanny", which is a big green floor pillow from Aunt Teeny. Sydney has a closet full of clothes I can't wait to put her in, but almost everything is too big for her right now. She doesn't seem comfortable in anything too fancy, so we are living in gown sacks and onesies, which is OK with me. Our Gigi went back to work today, and even though she lives 4 1/2 minutes away, I lost it and cried for at least 30 minutes after she left. I guess that is just part of this emotional roller coaster. Don't worry- I'm feeling much better this morning!

Lauren- she is such a cutie! We also go to Dr. Laura Wilson and really like her as well. So how was Dr. Hubach? It sounds like she did a pretty good job to me.

You've gotten some great pics! I love the picture of Sydney on the floor pillow with the light shining on her. How sweet! It's times like this that I wish we were closer. You look great, though! Hang in there. She'll be talking to you and putting her clothes on by herself before you know it.

Lauren, you are doing such a great job posting. I am loving it and I hate that I can't be there. I agree with Scarlett, it's times like this I wished we lived there. I got sad when you were talking about how you cried when your mom left. I can't imagine how I will be because my mom will be hundreds of miles away. Oh, and I love that "floor nanny". I've never seen that before. Corbin- where did you get that? I'm going to need to get one. (Okay, sorry I just wrote a book!) I love you all, Julie

Congratulations! I haven't checked your blog in a week - I last saw where you were going in on the 9th, but just now got to see all of the beautiful pictures of Syndey. She is so sweet and beautiful! I cried when my mom left us too!

What a beautiful little girl. You guys look pretty good for the wear, too. The room is adorable. If Lauren did the painting, I am very impressed. Can't wait to see Precious Sydney Elise.

Sydney is beautiful....and don't you worry one bit about crying. I think it just comes with motherhood. Patterson is 5 1/2 months and I still love having my mom around. Please let me know if you need anything

Lauren, I love that you are posting frequently and your stories are bringing back so many memories. When my mom left she tried to leave EARLY in the morning so I wouldn't be awake yet. Ask Jeremy, I ran outside in freezing cold weather and was crying begging her to stay. Looking back, I know my mom cried all the way home! You are such an awesome mother! I love that swing, you will have to tell me more about it, because we have to purchase one this time! Love you girl, Penny
