We just spur of the moment decided to turn her crib into a toddler bed this afternoon. Needless to say, she was so excited and we had to set rule #1 immediately- no jumping in the bed :). I set back up the video monitor and made sure I showed her how Mommy could see her sleeping and staying like a big girl in her bed. I know night one has just begun, but she climbed right in after prayers and stayed put. Knock on wood. I am going to DIE if I wake up in the middle of the night and those dimples are standing 2 inches from my face!!!!

NO WAY! I am impressed by your spur of the moment decision. I have been wanting to switch Jackson to a big boy bed and thought we might do it when we move. . .but I have been talked out of it. Too many changes, I think. So, I'm going to let him get settled into his new space and then move him to a big-boy bed. Way to go Sydney!
I LOVE these bed pictures! Looks like something from a movie set. Hope she stays put all night :)
Yay Sydney! We moved Aiden to his big boy bed when he turned 2 and he has done great. I think they like having their own little bed. He never gets out till I go in and get him. I'm sure Sydney will do great!
