What a blessing to the soul a "Stay-cation" can be!!! We have stayed in our jammies most of the week and enjoyed NOT having plans or to-do lists. I have cooked, cleaned, organized, and most importantly, spent time with my favorite 2 year old!!! My solution this week to take a shower without interruption: put her doll house in the middle of my bed and offer a piece of gum as a bribe to stay on the bed until I get out.

Manicures and Music

She picked out a few doll house furniture pieces with her Christmas money and is so proud.

Oh, and we have worked in a couple of yummy restaurant stops over the Christmas break also. We went on a lunch date to Cracker Barrel after her ENT appointment last week and it was so fun sitting across the table from my little lady. She reminded me to bless the food (while I had my first bite in my mouth!), put her napkin in her lap, and ate so quietly and calmly like a big girl! SLOW DOWN GROWING MY LOVE!!!! Thank you for a wonderful week at home!

Same here, girl! I am thinking this has been the best Christmas vacation in a long time. Time with family and time to rest...what more can i ask for?
What a cutie! Ok so you have the same microphone I've seen ...where on earth did you get it? My 2 girls would love one!
Glad she loved the dollhouse!!!! Miss yall happy new year!
Bridgit, Thanks for stopping by. I got the microphone at a toy store in Dallas, and I have a friend who bought one also at a private toy store in Northwest Arkansas. But the brand is I believe Early Learning Centre (spelled that way). We have thrown the box away but hopefully that will help!
