Well, my sweet and sassy baby girl is 3!!!! We woke up early on her real birthday and she got to open presents. Mom and Dad got her a baby changing table, which went perfectly with the American Girls Bitty Baby that Aunt Teeny and John Austin sent. A HUGE THANK YOU to them- she loves it!!!!!!
Little girls amaze me. She knew just what to do and how to tenderly care for a baby. She gave her a bath and then needed a clean diaper and pjs. Funny, after she changed her diaper she pretended to "spray down" the diaper changing pad just like her quality approved preschool does!!!!
For her special day, Brent and I took her to our favorite donut shop, Marks Donuts. Then she took 3 donut holes to each of her friends in her class, one for each year of her life ;).
The night of her birthday my parents and Brent and I took her to Chuck E Cheese for a little play time, pizza, and of course, cake!
Wednesday night my dad and step mom took us out for, what else? Sydney's request and favorite food, pizza. My dad surprised us with a oh so yummy chocolate cake from Community Bakery.
Just one of many sweet moments I noticed last week. I took her to the Dollar Tree and gave her $1 to spend. She proudly carried it around the whole store looking, and finally picked this huge American Flag. If you know Sydney, then you know she is VERY patriotic and one of her favorite school activities is saying the "Pledge of Allegiance". She is also proudly wearing her Bitty Baby around the house, being such a sweet momma.
