Show Us Your Life: Singles Edition

Erin is 31, lives in Central AR and works in hospital administration.

Kellys korner blog is doing a singles Friday. It is a chance for friends to post about people they love and want to find that "special someone" for. Our OBU group of girlfriends(along with some other great friends of hers) have made it our mission to find Erin the man she so deserves! The snippets below are just a small testimony to what a wonderful person she truly is!

To know Erin is to love Erin. She has a very real gift of truly caring for others. Last year, my beloved grandmother suffered a long medical battle before her passing, and Erin was one of my strongest support systems - she came to visit me, my mom and my grandmother often, she brought special gifts, and she even sent me some gerber daisies (a favorite of mine) to work to brighten my day. She called or texted almost daily and always made sure that she was aware of any change. This is just one example of her generosity. What makes Erin so incredibly special is that her love is so real for those she cares for. In the 14 years that I have known Erin, I have seen her give this level of thoughtfulness with all of our friends. In fact, every one of our friends would have a story similar to mine, albeit unique to them, of how Erin went the extra mile to pick them up in the time of need. Erin's unimaginable loyalty and devotion to others are qualities that make me so lucky to have her in my life. She is also so much FUN. We have traveled a lot together in the last 5 years, and, she has made all our traveling experiences so memorable, and, without trying, she makes me smile and laugh until my cheeks literally hurt. She is the absolute best!!!

Erin has been a good friend/pseudo-sis of mine for around 14 years. We met before college(OBU) and have been great friends ever since. She is the friend I call when I need help or advice. She is so special she gets the title "aunt erin" and takes it to a whole new level. She throws her friends kids parties just for fun(cookie parties at Christmas, Egg dying parties at Easter). She is the most generous person I know. She spends her time and money to let people know how special they are to her. She has the ultimate servants heart! She is very involved in her church. She comes from a great family who live around here. She is so much fun. She is super outgoing and easy to talk to. She loves Razorback football! I pray that Erin finds the person that she truly deserves. God has someone so special for her and I can't wait for her to meet them.

I am blessed to call Erin one of my dearest friends for over 20 years. She is seriously one of the funniest people I know. She is one of the most loyal friends you will ever have. You could call her in the middle of the night and she would be right there. She is very dedicated to her work, church, family and friends. She is the friend I call about anything because she is so easy to talk to and listens when I need to talk. I could go on forever about Erin because she is seriously so awesome. She is so much fun to be around and everyone wants to hang out with Erin because she is so fun to be around. I love her and so glad God put us in the same town to grow up in and then go off to college together.

It sounds so cliché to say Erin is one of the nicest people I know, but in her case it really is true. I think that one of her spiritual gifts is serving. She has a genuine servant heart...she thinks about others all the time and what she can do for them. She remembers birthdays, anniversaries and anything else that is important to you and always acknowledges it, even when I know she is super busy herself. Erin has never met a stranger and anyone that hangs out with her for even a little bit wants to be her friend because she is so much fun. She has a great sense of humor and will keep you laughing for hours. She is an amazing friend!

Erin is the life of the party. Her quick wit and general love for a good time make her everyone's favorite person to be around. In college, I learned that I can't sit next to Erin in church, or in any other situation where I'm not supposed to laugh, because it will happen. No one is funnier than she is. Erin is the perfect "all-weather friend" because she is always up for anything. She's happy watching a movie at home, but she loves going out too. The bottom line is that Erin is fun- all the time. Now she just needs someone special who is a great as she is.

When I think of Erin, I think of a person who is fun, has a quick sense of humor, and is easy to pick right back up with no matter how long it's been since we've seen each other. She's smart, successful, classy, and one of the most generous people I know. I know God has someone perfect in mind for her and he will be a very lucky guy. Her heart for Christ is sincere. I know she will guide her children in the way they should go and be the perfect help meet for her spouse. I'm so excited to see who God has in store for her.

Erin is someone whom I have know since childhood and have been lucky enough to call a friend for the last 20 years! It's hard to put Erin into words, but anyone who knows her can't help but smile. She embodies what it means to be a true friend and I am so excited for her to find her soul mate. I just know God has something amazing in store for her.

So, I don't really even know what to say about my sweet Erin. She is the best friend a girl could ask for. She knows my true heart and meets my needs before I could even find words to describe them. Just one of the many examples of this would be one of the worst days of my life, several weeks ago. I was so overwhelmed with balancing motherhood, marriage, work, financial stresses, etc. and I just called and bawled my eyes out to her on the phone. Literally, she left work, went to the grocery store and bought me over $100 worth of groceries, showed up at my front door, and proceeded to unload them into my pantry, plan dinner for my family, and she even stuck around to help me get both girls bathed and into jammie's. She hadn't even been home to change out of her heels yet, but as always, she put my needs before hers!!
