Brent and I got Saturday and Sunday off parenting duties to celebrate our anniversary, and we had an amazing time eating out, seeing a movie and not having to keep up with 2 little ones who interrupt our conversation more often than we actually have one. Kate and Sydney stayed in Lonoke with my dad and step mom, and it looks like they are carrying on the "Eagle Ice Cream Face" tradition!! :). Thankful for the time away and even more thankful to see my two happy girls!!!!
The view from our room at the Double Tree! Note to self, do not book a romantic "stay-cation" the weekend of a dance tournament, soccer tournament, a wedding reception and a prom! It was crazy! And some genius pulled the fire alarm at 2:00am. And we were on the 12th floor. And elevators don't work in a fire alarm situation. Glad we could sleep in and laugh about it in the morning!!!
