Breakfast with Santa 2011

I started this blog to have a way to share pictures and stories with others in an easy way.  Each year I print out our blog as a book and I have basically not done any scrap booking since Sydney's first birthday.  SO, it is disappointing to me when I only update once a month!  How did I ever have time to blog even once a week?!?  Times have changed and the amount of things I have to do each day keep increasing, and goodness knows I need to do lots of others things than be on the computer.  Anyway, I want to try and stay up with it a little more.  So maybe that will be my New Years Resolution!  We'll see :)
Here are some pictures from Arkansas Childrens Hospital Breakfast with Santa.  Huge thanks to Mika who was the chairman of the event!  It was awesome!!!
 OBU girls and kids
Hot mess #1 and #2 (AKA Sydney and Anna Beth Bagley)

I couldn't get this photo to crop on my work laptop  so I will try and upload it again later.  Merry Christmas Santa!  So I can remember, Sydney was so brave this year and marched right up and told him she wanted a Princess tent and a jewelery box.  Oh, and she added that Kate wanted a sled-??  First I had heard of that but OK Santa noted that.

Thanksgiving 2011

Princess Belle helping me make a pumpkin pie
 Uncle John playing Candy Land
Kate was loving Grandaddy and wouldn't let me feed her at the table but wanted Joe to :)

 Gigi!!!
Britton and Holly and baby Ross came over for the LSU/Razorback game.  Ouch.  Sad outcome of the game but the girls loved getting to see Ross AKA "baybee" as Kate says.
We love you Ross!!  Our first cousin on the Fry side of the family!!!!

Party Animals- a few pictures from November and December

Sydney was invited to a "Rock Star" birthday party a few weeks ago, and she loved getting her hair and makeup done.  How typical of life is this- every other little girl asked to have their hair curled and Sydney wanted hers straight!!!!
What a cute group of rock stars :).
Then- Paisley's mom surprised the girls with a limo pulling up in the driveway and she took them to 3 Flamingos for cake and ice cream.  Sydney said it was "Amazing Mom!!  Just like the log ride at Silver Dollar City!"  HAHAHAHA
My sweet baby girl loved Ava Lile's First Birthday party, especially the table full of sweets!
 And then...
Aunt Erin's 4th Annual Cookie Decorating Party!
Sweet Erin yet again out did herself and invited 19 kids to come and make a huge mess of her beautiful house!  Kate didn't nap that morning and was needy for some momma-lovin' but we all had a blast!

Busy Baby

 Kate loves her purses
and throwing the toy for Misty
and for pushing her babies everywhere :).

Under the Sea for Halloween 2011

What is it about little kids dressed up that is so cute?!?  We had a fun Halloween week this year as a mermaid and an octopus.
Heading to Trunk or Treat in Park Hill
Wait- Kate wants "more" pictures, so here we go...
The seniors had a great party and it just so happened that Sydney was the STAR SENIOR last week (each child gets a week to be celebrated and Ms Suzanne said never has a child been so excited!  Ha!)
The star senior gets to sit on the bench and she is leading the group on a "spooky walk"
And leading the class in the annual costume and trick or treat parade.

And because there were 2 mermaids, Elli got to celebrate with Sydney on the star bench :)
And then after school we headed to Park Hill for trunk or treat
with HULK!!!!  (Also known as John Austin Levin)
Baby Cakes enjoyed 2 suckers and then got hot and fussy and tired of sitting and riding like a cute little octopus, which made maneuvering through JFK 5:00 traffic NOT easy.

But she rebounded once we got to Gigi and Grandaddy's and found our Daddy

 Trick or Treat Gigi!!!

We made a quick swing through the cul de sac and then headed in for US Pizza and baths by 7:00.  My kind of Halloween night actually!!!!  Hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday!

Princess Party

Today Greer, Addyson and Ava had an amazing Princess themed 5th birthday party.  The highlights included a horse drawn carriage and many Disney princesses (wink wink you might recognize some of their Mommies and friends)

The birthday girls and some of their guests
Princess Sydney was not interested in dressing up in any of her princess dress up clothes and it was interesting that even at the party she was completely fine.  I didn't have her pegged as a nonconformist but it has made me think today about her emerging independence :).
Love these girls- we have known each other since the third grade!  Snow White (AKA Julie Fisher) and I went to Indian Hills together and Ariel (AKA Merrit) and I played a piano duet at our piano recital.  Hard to believe that was 22 or 23 years ago!!!!!!!!
