Sydney is one month old today, and we "celebrated" by having her one month check up with Dr. Wilson. Sydney weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. That puts her in the 50th percentile for height and weight. Over the past week or so, we have noticed that she is crying more, and not in a "oh I'm a little fussy cry" but in a "I am hurting please do something" scream! She has also been coughing/choking some when she eats, getting the hiccups every couple of hours, and wakes up screaming (as though in pain) when we lay her down after she eats. So, we are going to try a trial run of Prevacid to see if reflux could be causing her some pain. She also got a shot in her thigh which I had to hold her down for!!! Oh the fun and hard times of parenting! Sydney is a trooper though, because she cried for just a minute after her shot and then cashed out in her carrier before Daddy could even get her into the car! Please keep your fingers crossed that the medicine will help her sweet little belly/esophagus feel better soon!!

I love it when you write a bunch but I love the pictures even more!! She is growing so fast and is so beautiful! It is hard to remember when Abby was that little, but I know she was!! I am so glad you came on Saturday!! You are such an awesome mom!
Lauren, we are having acid reflux issues too and I have yet to call Reese's pediatrician. Reading your blog made me realize how much Reese is hurting and that maybe meds would help her too. Jonas had the same thing & was on 2 meds so I am thinking I need to call this week. I love reading your blogs! Also looks like Sydney loved her Easter bunny presents :)

Lauren, I'm glad Sydney is doing well. She looks precious. I hope the acid reflux problem goes away soon. I will be praying for sweet little Sydney. I love the picture of her sitting up in the chair. She is just so cute! I miss you guys.
