I love Easter!! I can tell that Sydney already does too! On Saturday we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at church, more for Mommy to get to visit with friends :), but Sydney and Elli had plenty of fun. We also got to see the Boyds and the Gerans, and Caroline was very interested in the "Baby" as she said several times in the cutest Southern accent!!! She wasn't to happy about her Sassy loving on Sydney, but I know that Caroline will be an excellent big sister in June! We also made a quick trip to Heber Springs to Brent's Nanny (no picture though) and then topped off our Easter with steaks at Gigi's and Granddaddy's. Gigi got her one of my favorite books as a child, Peter Rabbit! Oh, and Poppa Gene and Nanny D came by last night to start Sydney's collection of Easter Pez dispensers. Of course the Easter Bunny did not forget to stop by our house, and he brought her a Little Giraffe silkie and a few toys. I know she is too little to know to crave the silkie, but when I give it to her she grabs on for dear life!! Hopefully she can use it to calm herself down and be a comfort as she gets older. I told myself I wouldn't write a novel, but there I go again!

She looks VERY excited about her basket!!!!
Adorable baby. My youngest is 2-and-a-half now, and I actually miss the "baby" phase (although it's very nice to sleep again!). She obviously has a very loving family.
Your blog seems geared mostly to family and friends. I found your post because I was searching for "Little Giraffe" references (see why below). Anyway, as a late Easter present for Sydney, next time you spring for a Little Giraffe blanket, head over to my website, www.sleepytimestore.com, which my wife and I started after we started having babies a few years ago, and use our baby10 coupon to get 10% off everything we sell, including LG.
Cheers,
Scott
Novels are good! Super cute bunny slippers on a super cute little girl. :-)
