My newest "accessory"

I never thought I would be one of those moms who wore her baby as an accessory, but life with a colic baby has changed my mind! Anyway, she is way cuter than any handbag or shoes could ever be! I don't think that I have many enemies, but I wouldn't wish a colic baby on anyone!!! She is so sweet and precious but boy can she fuss when the time comes! We are trying really hard to follow what our pediatrician is recommending, which is adding more formula to her diet with less at each feeding but more often, keeping with the reflux medication, and swaddling/soothing her. Which leads me to the Peanut Shell that I am wearing in this picture. Sydney hates it for a few minutes, and then falls to a deep and calm sleep. I walk the dog, empty the dishwasher, check my email, pay bills- just about anything I can with this! We are also really trying to stay on a strict schedule with her sleeping in her bed as much as possible. Look at that precious smile though... I LOVE it when she is feeling good!!! She has started to laugh out loud more, and she can hold her own side of a conversation with all the cooing she is doing!!! In fact, she has started "talking" several times a day to no one or anyone who will listen. She is her mothers daughter, what can I say???

I love it that she's going to be a talker like her mama. You guys will never be bored. I can't wait for the day when she asks if you are on the phone, again, like lil' B has done to me!(:

That baby sac looks neat!! It looks like it would be very handy, and I'm glad it's helping her feel better.

I've heard those things are great. I registered for one, but yours is a lot cuter. I like that pattern. I can't wait to see her next Friday. I'll call you soon and we can plan out what we're doing. Love y'all!

Shana had one of those 'cozy' accessories with her third daughter. It was great! I had a colic baby in Shana...I will be praying for you both. It is the hardest thing to cope with. They hurt so bad during those times...and you get frustrated b/c you can't stop the pain. Hang in there - and pray!
