Happy 2 Sweet Sydney! (Part 1)

Why haven't I thought of this earlier?!? Sydney was a perfect angel this morning while I cooked macaroni and cheese because I let her really "cook" with dry noodles and a little dash of whatever I was putting in mine. I have tried giving her pots and spoons but hadn't let her really use the food I was using.
Oh we love our new baby dolls!

OK, so I love birthdays and think you should get a celebration that lasts a few days. So, here goes Part 1. After we played at the park for Addie Sunday afternoon, we came home and ate dinner with Gigi and Grandaddy (my mom and Joe). If I can say so, I cooked a pretty great meal: oven-fried chicken, homemade macaroni and cheese and green bean bundles. I have been motivated lately by other bloggers who are putting out recipes, so if anyone needs either of those 3 things I will post them. Yummy! And Grandaddy brought Sydney a birthday cake which was beautiful and wonderful. So we got a chance to open presents, swing and throw the ball for Misty, and eat with Sydney. So I can remember, she is loving this whole birthday thing. If you sing "happy birthday to..." she finishes with you, and inserts "Sissy" in the third line, and it is remarkably in tune! Oh, we don't know why but she is saying Sydney as "Sissy" right now. I have GOT to get it on tape!!!!! Aunt Erin came over for cake with gifts too, so let me say now the child doesn't want for a thing and her birthday isn't until tomorrow. We are very blessed indeed! PS, Aunt Cathy, we LOVE LOVE LOVE her barrettes! What a perfect and thoughtful gift! Sydney wakes up every morning with crazy hair in her eyes and she typically starts out the day asking for oatmeal and "bay-ette". We have been wearing them all over town and back again, so thanks a million! I just looked through my entire memory card and I haven't caught her on film wearing one- yet. Thank you!
