May is here!!!

Well, I LOVE May!! Probably because I am a May baby, but also because I love the anticipation of summer approaching, wrapping up a school year and reporting to parents all the progress their kids made in speech therapy. Here is a small portion of what we have been up too....
We had a healthy and wonderful ultrasound (as a birthday present to me :) ) and we are having another baby girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brent and I are thrilled, and Sydney has been saying baby sister all along. I asked her the other morning what we should name her baby sister and she said "Cinderella". Yikes! After the ultrasound we celebrated with milkshakes from the Purple Cow and drove the young couple behind us crazy by calling and texting like 35 people :). I have had a great month, celebrating my birthday, the ultrasound and Mothers Day. The night of my birthday my mom and Joe grilled out burgers for us and Sydney couldn't wait for Uncle John to give her another soccer lesson.

Last Saturday, the weather could not have been nicer for a 19 week pregnant girl to head to the zoo! We met up with Melissa and Jackson and it was the first time Sydney really wanted to see specific animals. Of course, the birthday twins couldn't wait to ride the train and I hope Sydney didn't teach Jackson any bad habits about not riding but pushing the stroller. She is O-V-E-R riding in any strollers or sitting in booster seats even. I don't think I'll spend the money on a sit and stand stroller because she just doesn't want to ride anymore!
