We had a wonderful and relaxing Memorial Day weekend. My parents have bought a little place on the Little Red River in Heber Springs, and it is so beautiful. Their back porch literally overlooks the river, yet Greers Fairy Lake is only 10 minutes away! So we got the best of both worlds. We spend Saturday fishing and enjoying the river, and then we spent Sunday on the lake. I am amazed yet again with how beautiful Arkansas is. We saw geese, trout, cranes, and a bald eagle's nest with 2 young eagles! And of course we got spoiled with all kinds of great food. Thank you Smiths for letting us crash all weekend!!
